The Green 61 Contest is sponsored by the author of Green 61, Cody Fowler Davis, Author Marketing Experts, and Mysterious Reviews.
Synopsis of Green 61: (from the
publisher): On one side of the aisle, weighing in with integrity to
spare, is Anderson Parker, a newly fired attorney who gets fired up
over the wrongful death of three victims—two of them
children—in a Florida boating accident that was all too
avoidable.
Facing off at the opposite table is heavyweight lawyer Justin
Cartwright II, a no-holds barred SOB who’d lie, cheat, and
steal to get a KO in the courtroom. Adding to the tension is the fact
that Cartwright’s the guy who’d fired Anderson for
refusing to suppress crucial evidence in a previous case.
Clearly, a battle is brewing, and caught in the middle is Lady
Justice—her scales teetering between making the guilty party
pay and letting corporate money silence the truth.

Official Contest Rules
1. This contest runs from May 22, 2006 to July 03, 2006. To be eligible to win, entrants must submit their e-mail address via the Green 61 Contest Form on or before the entry deadline: July 03, 2006, 11:59 A.M., Pacific Time. The Hidden Staircase Mystery Books may use the e-mail address for purposes of prize notification and to request a mailing address to be used for the sole purpose of delivering the prize. Any entries received by us after the deadline will be ineligible to win. LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON PER E-MAIL ADDRESS PER DAY. The entry form must be manually completed in person; autofillers (e.g. RoboForm) are acceptable means of completing the entry form. No automated entries will be accepted and are expressly prohibited. Multiple daily entries from the same person and/or e-mail address are void. The Hidden Staircase Mystery Books is not responsible for entries that are late, misdirected, lost, garbled, or unintelligible, including those due to computer or network malfunction or congestion, and any such entries are ineligible.
2. One (1) Prize will be awarded: The Prize consists of a hardcover copy of Green 61 by Cody Fowler Davis signed by the author, a T-shirt, and a bottle of body cleanser. Estimated value of The Prize: Approximately $49.00. No transfer or substitution of the prize will be permitted.
3. On or about July 04, 2006 one (1) winner will be chosen in a random drawing conducted by the Hidden Staircase Mystery Books from all eligible and completed entries received by the entry deadline. The winners will be notified by e-mail and their mailing addresses will be used by the Hidden Staircase Mystery Books solely for the purpose of delivering the Prizes. (See also The Hidden Staircase Mystery Books Privacy Policy.) If a winner does not respond with 15 days of winning notification, an alternate winner will be selected. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
4. NO PURCHASE

If, for any reason, the contest or any contest is not capable of running as planned by reason of damage by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical limitations or failures, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Hidden Staircase Mystery Books, could compromise, undermine or otherwise affect the Official Rules, administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the drawing, the Hidden Staircase Mystery Books reserves the right and absolute discretion to modify these Official Rules and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the drawing. In the event of termination or cancellation, the winner(s) will be selected from all eligible entries received before the time of termination. The Hidden Staircase Mystery Books assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, or unauthorized access to the site. The Hidden Staircase Mystery Books not responsible for injury or damage to entrants’ or to any other person's computer, other equipment, or person relating to or resulting from participation in the drawing, or from downloading materials or accessing the site.
